Submission is ongoing for adda poetry and nonfiction. adda is a Commonwealth Writers’ online platform that connects writers and readers across different cultures and geographical location.
They want to commission some poems and nonfiction pieces for the their 2017 — 2018 publication. Each commission will enjoy the privilege of being vetted by an editor. The editor will work with the writer to produce a high quality piece. The editor’s vetting will also help emerging writers improve on the art of writing. adda wants to reward writers who have stories that are unique. There is going to be a one-off commissions for Poetry and Nonfiction only.
Submission guidelines:
- There is no restriction on the subject. You can take your story anywhere you want to, but don’t lose your readers on the ride.
- They don’t like you submitting a work that has appeared in one online magazine or in your chapbook. Submit an unpublished work.
- Only citizens of Commonwealth countries are eligible to submit. Don’t bother submitting if you are not.
- For now, they only want works written in English.
- Only one piece per writer will be accepted.
