Fourth Ambit wants you to take some time to think over these questions: What happens when friends – both old and new – hangout together? Why is every “gupshup” session filled with stories that start with “Do you remember when..?”
Fourth Ambit wants you to develop stories that dwelt on nostalgia — memories that have put a smile on your face or that have drawn water from your eyes. You have a chance to create such compelling story and get rewarded with a cash prize. Indian writers who want to bring freshness to the memory of their school or college days are advised to submit their FlashFiction of 500 words. The best story gets 15,000 rupees, the 2nd winning story gets 10,000 rupees, and the 3rd winning story gets 5,000 rupees.
Submission guidelines:
- Submission should be in English.
- Submission can be based on true life events and it also be drawn from your creative imagination.
- Submission should have a school/college setting.
- Entry should not exceed 500 words.
- You have to sign up on Fourth Ambit to be eligible to submit your story.
- You will be required to involve your friends — they need to like your story.
- You can submit more than 1 story.
- Entries will be judged on 40% likes from friends and 60% reviews from judges.
