In my own right
I’ll say Julie was not always right
For she would think her left was the right
But her right wasn’t the right, but the left
Twas hard to tell her
That the right was wrong
Since the left was right
All I wanted her to know was
She could be just right on the right
Yet wrong
We went for yoga pose
And Julie drew her left leg first
To Julie the left was the right
To the teacher, the right was right
So I whispered ‘Julie your right is the right’
She replied ‘obviously, right is right and left is left’
I gave up on what’s the right or the left
Or what’s left of the left that wasn’t right
I might just be right or wrong too
